Countertop Review
This time last year I was packing up our house to prepare for our down-to-the-studs renovation in our kitchen, family room, and master bath as well as the addition of a screened porch. The family room wasn't originally part of the plan, but that's a post for another time. The kitchen was where I really had to plan and scheme, and, yes even fret, to stay in our footprint and budget and to get the function and look I wanted. I love a challenge like this, though, so despite some occasional frustration with my client (aka me! ), I enjoyed the process. A key "want" of mine was honed marble countertops. There are dozens--maybe hundreds--of blog posts, articles, and showroom sites that compare various types of countertop materials and their pros and cons. Yes. I love citrus and an avocado and grapefruit salad is just about the best.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to be able to have it so fresh!!
ReplyDeleteYum! I love tangelos..and I love the idea of citrus with avoacados.....the textures are wonderful together. ENJOY!
ReplyDeleteWe are citrus lovers, too. Sectioning grapefruit makes it so much easier to just grab a little dish and enjoy. DOTR has been gobbling it down on this diet and it seems as though I'm refilling the big bowl everyday!
ReplyDeleteThose oranges and grapefruits look amazing!
ReplyDeleteSo jealous. I got some good ones before I left FL last May on a quick getaway to see my best girlfriend. mmmmm.
ReplyDeletethere is nothing better than a fresh orange and a slice

hope you're still enjoying some of that florida sunshine.
I love oranges and grapefruits. I actually frequently have an orange for dessert in the evening - delicious and staves off the ice cream cravings!
ReplyDeleteHow fresh and wonderful! I hate I couldn't see you while you were in Tampa!
ReplyDeleteMy in-laws used to have a citrus and avocado grove on their property. We have bags of fruit so much so that sometimes it would rot before we could get to it. How I miss it now! :) xoxo
